Heavyweight weigh-in

21 05 09 - 20:57 The DR800 is in for a busy few weeks of training, getting whipped into shape to be ridden down to the South of France in July (more on that later). Step one - find out how much it weighs in its current, fairly standard state. So earlier this evening I brought out the precision bike weighing equipment (a pair of cheap bathroom scales, courtesy of IKEA) and subjected DR BIG to a weigh-in. The result (with a full 25l tank of fuel on board):

Front: 100kg
Rear: 115kg
Total: 215kg

So now we've got a benchmark. Let the mods commence.
